Transporting and segregating lithium-ion batteries safely
Battery safety redefined
Lithium-ion batteries have become an indispensable part of modern applications in the trades, industry and logistics. However, alongside their advantages, they pose significant risks in the event of a fault, particularly during transport or temporary storage. Whether shipping defective batteries or ensuring their safe isolation during day-to-day operations – compliance with legal regulations is not only a legal obligation but also contributes to actively minimising risk.
CEMO offers tried-and-tested products to ensure that both the transport and the isolation of lithium-ion batteries are carried out in a legally compliant and practical manner. This is based, amongst other things, on the provisions of ADR legislation and the relevant UN regulations.
